Mr. Humm advises energy and public utility companies on legal, regulatory, commercial, and legislative matters to support their objectives and ensure compliance. His representation includes advocacy and strategic guidance on issues related to distribution rates, planning and system reliability, infrastructure replacement, capital and operational expenses, energy supply, service quality, safety, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and state investigations. In addition, his background as a litigation attorney allows him to assist clients with court appeals from administrative agency decisions.

 

Before joining Keegan Werlin, Mr. Humm served as Senior Counsel at National Grid in its New England Legal Regulatory Group, and as the Assistant General Counsel – Litigation at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, where he represented the company in federal and state administrative proceedings, among other responsibilities. Mr. Humm began his career as a litigation attorney at Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C.
