Michael Koehler is an associate at Keegan Werlin LLP specializing in energy, regulatory, public utility and environmental law.
Before joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Koehler served as a law clerk for the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts. Mr. Koehler received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, cum laude, and his Masters in Public Administration from the Sawyer School of Management. At Suffolk, Mr. Koehler served as the Managing Editor of the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy. He also received a Rappaport Fellowship in Law and Public Policy that enabled him to work for the City of Boston's Environmental and Energy Services Cabinet. Prior to law school, Mr. Koehler received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from Middlebury College. In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Koehler serves on the Alumni Council of Phillips Academy (Andover) and on the Board of Trustees for Thompson Island Outward Bound.
Mr. Koehler is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and is an active member of the Boston Bar Association where he currently serves on the BBA's Environmental Sustainability Task Force.
