He represents energy and utility clients before administrative agencies such as the Department of Public Utilities and the Energy Facilities Siting Board.
Mr. Sanders received his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. At Boston College, Mr. Sanders earned a Certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law from the Environmental Law Society. He also received the Rappaport Fellowship in Law and Public Policy, which enabled him to work for the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities on grid modernization and electric vehicle policy development. In addition, Mr. Sanders received his Master of Arts in philosophy from the Boston College Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy, summa cum laude, from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Sanders was a mathematics teacher at Pekin Community High School, in Pekin, Illinois.
